Utopia Synth Association
The founders of the Utopia Synth Association are Árpád Beszédes and Péter Vörös, the originators and creators of the highly successful Utopia interactive exhibition and conference (Szeged, Hungary, November 12-20, 2016) and Utopia 2 interactive exhibition (Szeged, February 14-16, 2025) events.
The Association aims to preserve, promote and develop the artistic and technological values of historical and contemporary electronic music. Our aim is to inform and support performers, specialists and interested parties in the field of electronic musical culture, which includes all genres of electronic music and other art forms that use electronic music technology. Our Association provides technical support to users and owners of new, used and vintage synthesizers, their peripherals and other electronic music equipment, which includes education, knowledge sharing and networking related to restoration, servicing and development.
Activities of the Association:
- organizing promotional events
- organizing professional workshops
- organizing concerts, musical and audiovisual art performances, building relationships between performers and event venues
- applied music production
- organizing exhibitions of electronic music instruments and equipment
- organizing thematic member meetings
- information dissemination to children and adults in accordance with the goals of the association
- providing technical advice to association members and interested parties
- networking between association members and interested parties in accordance with the goals of the association
